Description
'Felt a Little Bit Country' was specially made to be included in the 'Return of the Guitar Shaped World' Exhibition at Tamworth Regional Gallery in 2010. Complete with a case, it is a soft sculptured felt guitar with a beautifully crafted motif of a horse owned by Culliton on the body. When on display, the work lies in its opened case, highlighting the soft, unstructured nature of the textile with which it is created. Predominately a painter, Lucy Culliton's skill and attention to detail in this medium is outstanding.
